Advocate | Producer | Brand Architect
They called me a child prodigy. I call it being the ultimate geek since the age 8 when my mother introduced me to Nintendo in the late 80s. I fell in love with technology at the Nintendo World Series and its been a life long love affair ever since. And through the years I have had the pleasure of working with some of the most amazing people, brands, and companies across the global. I was one of the first African American professional Web Developers and the first AA female professional Web Developer. I started off around the age 14/15 developing community websites (later sold) for classmates in high school. Around age 16/17 a California based tech company offered me a career in web development for varies e-commerce clients. I developed a uncanny ability to build up brands online which caught attention in varies industries. It lead to a over 10 year span of working with various brands and celebrities in mainstream media. After over 15 years I'm now a retired web developer turned sought after marketing expert and content producer that moonlights as a award winning event producer while writing for a few magazines and blogs. I am also a very active advocate for women's entrepreneurship and positive self esteem. In the past I earned my clients over 6.2 million in secured investments and underwriting over a 2 year period while raising 6 figure budgets for my own brands. I have a extensive multi-industry background that includes working with brands such as ABC, Forever 21, Reebok, CoverGirl, and the United Nations Association. My expertise is brand building with trend forecasting which in today's world translates into a strong understanding and anticipation of social media algorithms and offline engagement. I absolutely adore Guerrilla and Social Marketing. Today I am newly married and co-operate a multimedia firm, large scale event production company, and teach/write curriculum for social media marketing.
